M&P Rail #1027 holds a special place in my heart as one of the first Proto 2000 engines I acquired, signifying the beginning of my locomotive roster expansion.
My vision was clear – to embrace smaller shutting or short line style engines. Growing up around GP7 engines, their familiarity on the tracks inspired me to include one on my layout without a doubt.
